Athletic banquet will be held May 7th to celebrate 7-12 football, basketball, volleyball and track. There will be a potluck dinner starting at 6:30 with awards starting at 7:00. We ask the following grades would bring the following dishes. 12th and 9th grade bring a main dish. 11th and 8th grade bring a salad. 10th and 7th bring a desert. If you have more than one kid, bring for the kid that is older. 6th grade parents if you are attending please choose one of the 3.
There will be a Father Daughter dance on Sunday April 29th, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the school. Girls of all ages are welcome to attend and can be accompanied by fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers etc. Cost is $20 per couple and $5 for additional daughters. It will take place in the prom decorations and snacks will be provided. Forms will be sent home with elementary students to be returned to the office, or contct Brooke Wisthoff to reserve a spot.
Burke County Elementary Math Meet will start @ 12:30 pm in the gym. Awards will begin at approx. 2:00 pm. Parents are welcome to come and watch.
The elementary basketball games tonight in Tioga will be at Tioga Elementary School.
There will be NO Elem. Basketball game tonight against Divide County. They were concerned about the roads and chose not to come.
There WILL BE a Jamboree tomorrow.

As a reminder, Easter break is this week as there is no school Thursday, Friday, and Monday.
An update for snow days and this year's school calendar. We only have to make-up one day as we have a free day built into our regular school day. The last day of school will be Thursday, May 24th.
Due to impending weather, hazardous travel conditions, and a no travel advisory, there will be no school today in Powers Lake.
School will start at 10am today. No breakfast program this morning due to the late start. Buses will run 1.5 hours late.
Don't forget about early out today as school is out @ 2:00 pm!
Today, your student takes the ACT! Be supportive, wish them luck, and make sure they are not late! Be @ the Baptist Church by 8:00 am for breakfast. Test starts promptly @ 8:30am.

Due to the Region BBB tournament being rescheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the Powers Lake BB Elementary Jamboree this Saturday will be rescheduled on a later date.
The regional tournament has again been postponed. Games will be played on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Powers Lake School will start tomorrow at 10:00 with buses where possible. No breakfast in the morning.
